WATERBURY - Martin Joseph (Marty) Bolton age 55 of Litchfield CT, formerly of Manhattan Beach, CA, passed away peacefully following a long illness, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family and friends on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at White Plains Hospital, White Plains, NY.
Marty was born on May 01, 1962 in Waterbury, CT the son of Magdalen (Vilkauskas) Bolton and the late Michael J. Bolton, Jr. He was a graduate of Saints Peter & Paul Elementary School, Holy Cross High School and Providence College. He was employed by RR Donnelly & Sons of Chicago, IL for 30 years in the printing industry. An avid golfer, traveler and gambler, Marty will be sadly missed by his loving family and all who knew and loved him.
Besides his mother Magdalen, Marty is survived by his brother, Michael J. Bolton III of Litchfield and sisters, Mary Louise Schock of Waterbury and Marcia Little of Southington as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Bolton will be held at 11:30 on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Tribute Center, 1987 East Main St. Waterbury, CT. Friends and family may visit with Marty's family from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations in Marty's name be made to Sloan Kettering Hospital, Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065.
