WATERTOWN - Michael Garren, age 66, of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly at home on September 5th 2023.
Michael was born September 25, 1956, in Waterbury, CT the son of the late John and Margaret (Carroll) Garren. He was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and spent many years working as a custodian for the City of Waterbury, Dept of Education until he retired. Michael was proud of his Irish heritage and was a long-time, active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Msgr Slocum Division I in Waterbury. He was also a classic rock enthusiast and he will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are his brother, Timothy Garren and his wife, Linda of Lomita, CA, as well as several cousins and many friends.
A Memorial Gathering for Mr. Garren will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury, from 12:00 noon tol 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family.
