Adele Klenske

THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ADELE KLENSKE

WATERBURY - Adele (Paulauskas) Klenske - age 89 passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 1, 2021 after a brief illness. She was the widow of John Klenske.

Adele was born in Waterbury, July 14, 1931, daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie (Karchauskas) Paulauskas. She graduated from St Johns Grammar School in Watertown and Watertown High School in 1949 where she enjoyed participating in all high school sporting activities. After graduation, she was offered a clerical job for the Watertown Board of Education. After going on to other clerical jobs she settled on a 24 year career with Boise Cascade Containers as a Sales Service Representative and for a short while a Sales representative. She started out in Waterbury and finished in Milford, retiring in 1990. She was an avid reader of all types of fiction novels, enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a faithful New England team's fan - UCONN Men's and Women's basketball teams. She was an active member of the Knights of Lithuania in Waterbury for many years, where she made many lasting friendships and served as Treasurer for several years.

Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her daughter Holly Barrett and her husband Dennis of Wolcott, her son Dana Knight and his wife Raylene of Phoenix AZ, her grandson Ryan Barrett and his wife Amy of Wolcott as well as two great granddaughters Chesney and Oakley Barrett. She also leaves her niece. Janet Aliciene of Cheshire and several close relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Lillian and brother, Victor (Paul) Paulauskas.
The family would also like to thank VITAS Health Care and her fulltime healthcare provider, Arlene Kennedy for the compassion, caring and love she shared with Adele and her family during her final days.

Funeral services for Mrs. Klenske will be held Friday, April 9, 2021 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 1 Ardsley Rd Waterbury CT at 1:00 p.m. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. All guidelines currently in effect regarding COVID # 19 will be strictly enforced. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1987 E. Main Street, Waterbury, CT has been honored to assist the Klenske family during this very difficult time.
