WATERBURY- Mrs. Adele Remsen age 93 of Waterbury passed away on Friday September 26th 2014 at Rosegarden Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was the widow of Carlo Geronimo and Domenic Remsen.
Mrs. Remsen was born July 19th 1921 in Italy the daughter of the late Domingos and Brasilina (DeCilla) Vilhotti. She was raised in the Waterbury area and was a pro golfer. Before becoming a pro she won the Connecticut Amateur Golf Championship at East Mountain Golf Course Two years in a row. She was the loving mother of seven children, three of her children predecease her.
Funeral services for Mrs. Remsen were held privately in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury on Tuesday September 30th 2014.
