"Proud Father and Son"
WATERBURY- Akeem Paris age 30 of Waterbury CT, died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on the night of May16, 2020.
Akeem was born on January 19, 1990 in Waterbury CT the son of Sandra Paris and Charles Paris. He attended Waterbury public schools and worked at Atria Inc. as a Plant Technician. He loved being in the company of his family, fiancé and friends. In his spare time, he cruised in his car and rode his motorcycle. Akeem lived life to the fullest and his smile lit up every room he walked into. Above all else, his greatest strength came through the pride and joy of being a father to his son, Akeem Paris Jr.
Left to cherish his memory and honor his love and legacy, beside his parents, Sandra and Charles Paris are his beloved son, Akeem Paris Jr. his fiancé, Victoria Narvaez. He also leaves two sisters; Charquana and Tylor Paris, his brothers, Charles Paris Jr. and Travon Brown,his uncle Joe Brown,a nephew, Isaac Paris, two special aunts; Angela Brown and Carlene Rountree as well as his aunt Charmaine Person,Tamara Crosby- Williams,and close cousins; Myla Brown Garetha Gandra and Gandria all of Waterbury CT. He also leaves his maternal grandparents; Samuel and Pearl Myers of Roseboro N.C. paternal grandfather, Freddie Paris of Rochester N.Y. Akeem was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Annie Kate Paris of Tennille GA and paternal aunt, Shirelle Myers of Waterbury CT. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
The Paris family would like to thank and acknowledge Akeem's boss Adam Crowly and the Atria Inc. family as well as all of his co workers for all the love and support they have provided to Akeem and his family during this difficult time.
Due to the current to governmental restrictions regarding the pandemic, only the immediate family will be permitted in the funeral home and at the graveside. Relatives and friends can assemble at the funeral home on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 11:15 a.m. when a drive by presentation honoring Mr. Paris will be available followed by a procession to New Pine Grove Cemetery.
