Alan LaVallee

WATERBURY- Alan LaVallee age 54 of Waterbury passed away on Saturday morning at Danbury Hospital after brief illness.

Alan was born in Waterbury on July 23, 1962 the son of the late William and Jeannette (Morin) LaVallee. He was educated in local schools, graduated from Crosby High School and was employed as an arborist for Davey Tree Expert Co and most recently Lewis Tree Services of NY. Alan loved life and as someone who loved to fish, was known for being the first person on the lake at the beginning of fishing season. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved traveling the back roads of CT. He also played the guitar and loved entertaining others. He will be sadly missed by his loving family and all who knew and loved him.

Alan is survived by his son, Mark of Coventry RI, his beloved fiancé, Dina Russo of Watertown, his brother, Louis of Watertown, William and his wife, Susan of Cheshire, Gary of Watertown, his sisters, Claudia Rabinowitz and her husband Barry of Atlantic Beach FL, Christine Loeb also of Atlantic Beach FL, Jacklyn Cullen of North Lawrence NY, Janet Greatorex and her husband William of Watertown, Diane Robison and her husband Mark of Oakville, Susan Vensel of Lakeland FL and several nieces and nephews. Alan was predeceased by his brother, Eugene LaVallee of Waterbury.

Funeral Services for Alan will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury to SS Peter & Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Alan's family on Monday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
