WATERBURY – Alberto Alicea Gonzalez, age 53, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a brief illness.
Alberto was born March 25th, 1970, in Lares, Puerto Rico, the son of Edmildo Alicea and Georgina Gonzalez.
Left to honor his memory and cherish his legacy besides his parents he leaves his sisters, Batzaida Bayouth and her husband Javier of Wolcott and Yarelis Cosme of Waterbury, as well as other extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Alicea Gonzalez will be on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, at 5:00pm at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St., Waterbury; relatives and friends may visit with Alberto’s family from 5:15pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
