WATERBURY- Alice E. (Echuk) Baltera,96,passed away peacefully on Monday April 20,2020, where she resided at Wolcott View Manor.
Alice was born in Waterbury Connecticut on June 19,1923 to the late Theresa and Andrew Echuk. She was employed by Scovill Manufacturing and Timex. Alice was a member of the Wolcott Ladies Auxiliary VFW since 1979, and a parishioner of Saint Pius Church in Wolcott. She was an avid lover of grocery shopping, BINGO and enjoyed creating wonderful puzzles.
Alice is survived by her brother Donald Echuk of Northfield, her sons Mark Baltera and his wife Susan of Wolcott, Bruce Baltera and his wife Wendy of Florida and John Baltera and his wife Terri of Wolcott. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her late husband Cleo Baltera, and brothers Pete Zimnaruk, Michael Zimnaruk and John Echuk.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wolcott View Manor for the exceptional care given to her during her stay.
