WOLCOTT Mrs.Alma (Garneau) Bouffard, age 78, of Wolf Hill Rd. Wolcott, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 3, 2012, surrounded by her loving family at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of St. Marys Hospital.
Mrs. Bouffard was born on March 21, 1934 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Antoinine (LaMontange) Garneau. Alma was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School and worked in the grocery business for many years. Alma loved to knit, read and crochet and always enjoyed a trip to the beach but was most happy when cooking meals for her family.
Alma is survived by her sons, Thomas Bouffard and his wife Paula of Hamilton VA, Gary Bouffard and his wife Sharon of Oakville and Daniel J. Bouffard and his wife Anissa Porticelli of Meriden, her daughter, Lori Modenese and her husband Joseph of Waterbury and her brother, Maurice Garneau of Branford. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Bouffard will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 4:00 till 6:00pm at EASTSIDE MEMORIAL, "A Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St Waterbury. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
