WATERBURY - Andre "Andy" Lafontaine 75 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. He was the widower of Rosemarie (Richard) Lafontaine.
Andy was born on June 12, 1945 in Waterbury, CT, the youngest son of the late Roland and Eva (Landry) Lafontaine. Andy was raised in Waterbury and graduated Croft High School class of 1964. Andy started his career in television repair, worked many years as an electrician and retired from Watson Pharmaceuticals.
Besides his wife and parents, Andy was predeceased by brothers, Roger Lafontaine in 2018 and Marcel Lafontaine in 2019.
Left to treasure his memories are daughter Ann Lafontaine of Arlington, Virginia, son Jeffrey Lafontaine and husband Robert Daily of West Haven, daughter Renee Wehry and husband Lee Wehry of Naugatuck and granddaughter Sophia. In addition, Andy leaves his brother, Leo (Helena) Lafontaine of Thomaston, Sister-in-Laws Theresa Lafontaine of Waterbury and Lena Lafontaine of Queensbury, NY and many loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Lafontaine are private and at the convenience of the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later time, to be announced. Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Service have been honored to serve the Lafontaine family during this difficult time.
