WOLCOTT – Andrew Joseph Tarbe-Reeves, 31, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on January 9 at Hartford Hospital, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Danielle (Riccio) Tarbe-Reeves.
Andrew was born March 20, 1991, in New Haven, CT, the son of Brian Reeves and the late Jennifer (Tarbe) Vitale. Andrew graduated from Platt High School in Meriden and worked as a realtor throughout the Connecticut area. Andrew was a devoted Husband and father. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Denver Broncos. He also enjoyed playing video games and was a Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter enthusiast. There was nothing more important to Andrew than spending time laughing with family and friends. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Nathan Tarbe-Reeves (2), his wife Danielle (Riccio) Tarbe-Reeves, his father, Brian Reeves, his stepmother, Dara Reeves and his brothers Thomas and William Reeves. He also leaves his in-laws, Ralph and Sandra Riccio, his maternal grandfather, Stephen Tarbe, and his paternal grandparents, Walter and Lynda Reeves. He also leaves a niece, nephew and a horde of aunts, uncles and cousins who thought the world of him, as well as countless friends.
The Tarbe-Reeves family would like to thank and acknowledge the doctors, nurses, and staff at Hartford Hospital for all the care, love, and support they provided to Andrew and his family during his illness.
Funeral services for Mr. Tarbe-Reeves will be held on Monday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Church at 67 Southmayd Road, Waterbury. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meriden. Relatives and friends may visit with Andrews family on Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 1987 East Main Street, Waterbury.
