THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF ANGELINE STEVENS.


WATERBURY - Angeline (Muzi) Stevens age 87 of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Autumn Lakes of Bucks Hill Nursing Home. She was the widow of John Stevens Sr. her devoted husband of 39 years.

Angie was born on October 9, 1930 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Domenic and Josephine (Mancini) Muzi. She was educated in local schools and she enjoyed gardening, cooking, crocheting and bowling with her friends which she did for over 60 years at Perillo's Lanes. Her greatest love and passion in life was her family, especially her two grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah. Having raised her family on Keefe St in Waterbury, Angie was a longtime devoted parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church in Waterbury. Angie will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Angie is survived by her children; Karen Carew and her husband, Norman of Oakville and her son, John Stevens Jr of Oakville, with whom she made her home. She also leaves her two grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah as well as her sister, MaryLou Mucci of Palm Desert CA and several nieces and nephews. .

Funeral services for Mrs. Stevens will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury to St. Francis Xavier Church to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relative and friends may visit with Angie's family on Friday evening from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
