AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - Waterbury - Aniello Carpentieri, formerly of Valley Lane, Prospect, died peacefully Monday September 6th, at the Rosegarden Healthcare Center after an extended illness. He was the husband of the late Edwina (Anderson) Carpentieri.
Mr. Carpentieri was born May 31 1925 in Waterbury CT, the son of the late Aniello and Teresa (Cutillo) Carpentieri. He was educated in local schools and proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He worked as a supervisor for Robertshaw Lux Time and the Mattatuck Manufacturing where he retired after many years of service. His hobbies included gardening, salt water fishing and clam digging.
Among his survivors are his two step-daughters, Andrea Petrario of Waterbury and Dawn Kelly of Plainville, his stepson, Patrick Kelly of Waterbury, and his brother, Angelo Carpentier of Waterbury as well as thirteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Carpentieri will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St Waterbury CT has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements.
