AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Anita Florence (Boisvert) Browning age 75 of Watertown, passed away Monday March 22, 2010 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with illness. She was the wife of Raymond Paul Browning.

Anita was born December 21, 1934 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Emile and Florence (Blair) Boisvert and lived in Oakville and Waterbury most of her life. She attended Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement in 1999, Anita was employed as Alves Precision. She also worked for many years at Timex and Lewis Engineering. Anita loved to knit and do counted cross-stitch. She was an excellent seamstress and in her retirement, she loved to make doll clothes. Anita loved being a Mom and Gramma to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and treasured her special times at family gatherings.

Besides her husband Raymond of 56 years of Watertown, she leaves her children Patricia Leduc and her husband Kim, Raymond Browning and his wife Elaine, all of Watertown, Donna Browning of Oakville, Donald Browning of Southington, Richard Browning Sr. and his wife Carol of Winslow, ME., thirteen grandchildren; Jesse Leduc, Kimberly Leduc, Jon Leduc and Dalton Browning all of Watertown, Kari Daley of Oakville, Jaime Leduc and her fiancé Mario Losacano of Terryville, Jenny Browning and her fiancé Bryan Gatey of Bristol, Brian Browning and Billy Browning, Rick Browning and his wife Sara of New Gloucester, ME., Mike Browning of Winslow, ME., Dennis Browning of Burlington, VT., Kenny Browning and his fiancé Brook Cooper of Kenduskeag, ME., her great grandchildren and pride and joy Vincenzo Losacano and Skyanne Leduc. She also leaves a sister Barbara Becker and her husband Phillip of Waterbury, a brother Eugene Boisvert and his wife Joyce of N.C., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Corrine Boisvert Salvo.

Anita's family would like to thank Dr. Green and Dr. Hill and the nurses at Waterbury Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care they showed during Anita's illness.

Funeral Friday at 12 noon at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
