THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ANN BROWN
WATERTOWN - Ann R. Brown age 84 of Watertown, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of her family at the Vitas Innovative Care Unit of Saint Mary's Hospital on Thursday, January 4, 2018 after a brief illness. She was the wife of Eugene Brown.
Ann was born May 20, 1933 in Providence, R.I., the daughter of the late Thomas and Ann (Horgan) Brown. Ann was a loving and dedicated mother who devoted her life to raising her family. She enjoyed traveling, reading Danielle Steel novels, and spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time along the shores of Rhode Island and watching UConn Womens Basketball. She was a devout Catholic and active parishioner of Saint John's the Evangelist Church in Watertown, where she was a member of the prayer group. Ann will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Besides her devoted husband, Gene of 50 years, Ann is survived by her two sons; Thomas and his girlfriend, Angela Hughes of Watertown and Terry Brown of West Des Moines IA. She also leaves her adoring grandchildren; Ashley, Nicole, Zachary, Bennett and Brody Brown as well as her step grandchildren; Ellie and Jaymee Hughes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church, 570 Main St Watertown CT. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.in Saint Francis Cemetery Pawtucket, RI.
