THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ANN LOVEJOY
WATERBURY - Ann Lois Lovejoy, age 83 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13th, 2019 at The Vitas Innovative Care Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Donald J. Lovejoy.
Mrs. Lovejoy was born June 21, 1935 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Louis Carl and Henrietta Elizabeth (Hapke) Jannetty. She was raised in the Waterbury area, and attended Waterbury Catholic High School. Ann spent many years working for American Electro Products in Waterbury, retiring as a Quality Control Supervisor. She was a parishioner of Saint Michaels Church and enjoyed spending time in her yard, gardening. Life for Ann revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren, and great granddaughter, whom she adored.
Ann leaves her children; Jeffery Lovejoy and his wife, Patricia of Florence, AZ, Louis Lovejoy and his wife, Daryl of Newport RI. James Lovejoy and his wife, Leonette of Wolcott, and her daughter, Lois Lovejoy and her boyfriend, Harold Screen of Plainville, as well as her seven grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. In addition, she leaves her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Stango and Mary Lamitola, brothers Michael "Mickey" and Theodore "Teddy" and her late brothers John, Louis, Thomas, Henry, William and Lincoln Jannetty. She was predeceased by her son Dennis Lovejoy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lovejoy will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Saint Michaels Church 62 St Michael's Dr, Waterbury, CT 06704 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery Watertown. Relatives and friends may visit with Ann's family on Wednesday evening from 5:00- 8;00pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
