Proud Grandmother, “Nanners”
WATERBURY- It is with profound sadness that the family of Ann (Nancy) E. (O’Reilly) Tommone, age 77, of Waterbury share news of her passing in the comfort of her home on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Ann was born on November 6, 1947 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Harold J. and Anna E. (Overton) O’Reilly. Prior to retirement, Ann spent her professional life in the accounting industry. She also devoted countless hours to researching her family tree, exploring the rich history of her Irish ancestry. She loved cooking meals for her family, especially her favorite corned beef and cabbage. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, to whom she was Nanny or Nanners. Ann’s legacy will live on through the love that she shared. May she find eternal rest and peace beyond measure and may she never be forgotten.

She was predeceased by her sister, Jean Hampton. Ann also was predeceased by, and leaves behind, many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.
