"Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother"

WATERBURY - Anna C. (Fusco) Perugini, age 88 of Waterbury, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Cheshire House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after an extended illness. She was the devoted wife of the late William Perugini, to whom she was married for 48 years.

Anna was born on November 11, 1930 in Cheshire, the youngest daughter of the late Salvatore and Brigida (Pastore) Fusco. She was a graduate of Wilby High School, Class of 1949 and was s devoted homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family who were the focus of her life. She wintered in Florida with her husband for many years and was an active parishioner of SS Peter & Paul Church. Anna will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Anna is survived by her three children; Linda Williams and her husband, Stephen, William Perugini and his wife, Linda and Michael Perugini, her four grandchildren; Andrea Bowes, Jeffrey and Michael Williams and Loreen Elbakry, seven great grandchildren; Nolan and Reegan Ferretti, Rory Bowes, Mateo and Luca Williams and Adam and Amira Elbakry. She also leaves her sister, Emma Dalfino of Bristol along with many nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her siblings; Victoria, Daniel, Umberto, Michael and Victor Fusco, Lena Carbone and Mary Perugini.

Anna's family would like to gratefully acknowledge the Nurses and CNAs at the Cheshire House and the staff, nurses and aides from Franciscan Home Care and Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they shared with Anna and her family during her illness. Also, a special thank you to the many friends and loved ones who visited and prayed with and for Anna through all these years. God Bless You!


Funeral services for Mrs. Perugini will be held on Friday July 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd to Mary Mother of the Church Parish, SS Peter & Paul Church 167 Southmayd Rd Waterbury to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may visit with Anna's family on Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, to honor Anna's memory, contributions may be made to the Franciscan Home Care and Hospice 267 Finch Ave. Meriden CT 06451.
