AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME Mrs. Anna (Paulone) Testa, age 82 of Dixie Ave. Waterbury, went home to our Lord on Wednesday July 23, 2008 at Wolcott View Manor.
Anna was born September 14, 1925 in Scanno, Italy, a daughter of the late Felice and Maria (Martorelli) Paulone and came to the U.S. at the age of three. She attended Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a factory worker and was a nurses aide at Waterbury Extended Care in Watertown for 17 years. Anna was a communicant of Saint Mary Magdalen Church in Oakville.
She leaves a daughter Linda Marie Eberle and her husband William of Oakville, a beloved granddaughter Maria Eberle Skabardonis and her husband George of Stamford, three sisters Elpidia Santucci of Waterbury, Elmira Mastropietro of Oakville, Mary Squires of Manassa, VA., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Felice Paulone Jr.
Funeral Saturday July 26, 2008 at 8:15 a.m. from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville to Saint Mary Magdalen Church for a Mass of Christian burial at 9. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until leaving for church. Anna's family would like to thank the hospice staff at Pleasant View Manor in Watertown and Wolcott View Manor for their kindness and loving care. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Pkwy., Waterbury CT 06708 or to the National Pancreatic Cancer Research, 364 Boylston Street, 4th Floor Boston, MA 02116.
