WATERBURY - Anne Marie Etienne, age 71, passed away on Sunday, May 22,2016 at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of her family after courageously battling her disease.
Anne Marie was born in May 22, 1945 in Gonaives, Haiti the daughter of the late Sulfadin and Elionne Jean Louis. In 1959, at the age of 19, she married the love of her life, Frederic Etienne, a minister of the Gospel. She enjoyed tailoring at a younger age and loved to sing in church and study her bible.
Besides her loving husband of 57 years, Frederic, Anne Marie is survived by her 8 dear grown children, Judith Delimar, Brenus Etienne, Nicole Etienne, Daniel Etienne, Evodie Louis Jeune, Fernande Closel, Fredes Etienne, and Rachelle Dorestan. She also leaves 18 grandchildren whom she adored.
