THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ANTHONY CURZIO

OAKVILLE- Anthony R. Curzio., age 80, of Oakville passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday April 16, 2019 after a brief illness. He was the widower of Patricia (Lavigne) Curzio.

Anthony was born September 8, 1938 in Waterbury, CT the son of the late Anthony and Rachel (Pellicciotta) Curzio. Anthony grew up in the Waterbury area where he attended local schools and spent many years working as a financial analyst until his retirement. Anthony enjoyed being a home body and liked relaxing on the sofa watching t.v. shows and news channels to stay up to date on current affairs, but what brought the greatest joy to Anthony was spending time with his family. He was always happiest while being surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

Among his survivors are his son Anthony R. Curzio and his wife Roberta, of Longmeadow Ma, his daughters Cheryl Michaud and her husband, Richard of Oakville, Christine Martino and her husband, Stephen of Watertown, and Carol Dowd of South Salem, NY, and his sister Teresa Fucini of Cromwell. He also leaves his 6 grandchildren, Calliope, Steven, Jessica, Gabriele, Jason, and Anthony and his great grandson Auggie
Funeral services for Mr. Curzio will be held on Wednesday April 24th 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Magdalen Church, 14 Buckingham St Oakville, Ct 06779 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Anthony's family on Tuesday evening, April 23rd 2019 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville, Ct 06779.
