CHESHIRE-- Anthony C. Ezzo, 79, passed away on Friday, Dec 2, 2022 at his home in Cheshire. He was the husband of the late and respected James H. VanDuzer.
Anthony was born in Waterbury) on July 2, 1943, son of the late Michael J. Ezzo Sr. and Henrietta I. (Massonnet) Ezzo. He was a retired employee of CT Natural Gas Corp. in Hartford where he worked for 30 years.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his niece, Michelle J. Ezzo, his nephew, Stephen M. Ezzo, and his fiancee, Lori Keyser, his niece, Allison Kiziz, several great nieces and nephews and many friends including Donna Ouellette, Bob and Stella Pelegano, Sue McKay and Donna Jenner. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers; Michael J. Ezzo Jr. and Carmen Ezzo.
Anthony was very grateful to his family and friends who gave him love, support and a protected life. Also included are those he met during his lifetime, whether they became friends or not, may God bless them all. Anthony's family would also like to thank CT Hospice in Branford and the Opal Stork Caregivers.
A celebration of life honoring Anthony will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, with visitation with his family from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St. Waterbury. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Cemetery. To honor Anthony's memory and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital,
