AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME: Anthony Henry "Tony" Kennedy, age 76, of Middlebury Rd. Watertown, died Thursday evening at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Alice (Shen) Kennedy.

Tony was born January 1, 1932 in Glasgow Scotland, a son of the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Marshall) Kennedy and lived in Watertown for the past 30 years. He was educated in Scotland and England. Prior to his retirement in 1985, Tony was employed as Managing Human Resource Director for Timex in the Far East. He also worked as a consultant for Motorola in Asia, ICI Paints in England, de Havilland Aircraft in England and was an importer and exporter for Renovators Supply in Massachusetts and Taiwan. Tony was an avid lawn bowler who loved to travel the world, read and paint, his hobbies also included marquetry and gourmet food. Tony was a member of the American Club in Taipei and was a member of Toastmasters. He was a National Serviceman in the United Kingdom serving in the Far East from 1950 until 1952.

Besides his loving wife of 30 years of Watertown he leaves four daughters Julie Kennedy of England, Louise Kennedy Converse of Belmont, MA, Yvonne Kennedy Hobbs of Dublin, Ireland, Zarah Kennedy of Atlanta, GA, a brother Roger Kennedy of Alicante, Spain, two sisters Mary King of Malaga, Spain, Anne Conway of Scotland two granddaughters Siobhan Coote, Niamh Coote, two grandsons Thomas Hobbs, Connor Hobbs and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Saturday August 9 at 8:15 a.m. form the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville to Our Lady of Loreto Church in Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9. Burial will be private and at the convenience of his family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Leukemia Research Association, 585 Stewart Ave, Suite 18 Garden City, NY 11530.
