Perris, CA - Antonio "Tony" Palmieri age 59 of Perris, CA. formerly of Waterbury passed away suddenly in Lewisburg, Tennessee, doing what he loved the most, working, with his son, Ralph Palmieri on August 23rd 2017.
Tony was born November 26, 1957 in Ruviano Caserta, Italy the son of Raffaele and Amalia (Mazzettini) Palmieri of Waterbury, formerly of Italy. Tony grew up in the Waterbury area where he attended local schools. He was the operator of Palmieri and Sons Rigging Inc. out of California for many years. Tony was dedicated to his work, and cherished the time he was able to spend working alongside his sons, Ralph and Nico and enjoyed the opportunities it created for him to explore and travel the country, from coast to coast. Tony also enjoyed fishing and adored spending time with his friends, family, children and granddaughter, Katrina. Those who knew Tony would all agree he was a very generous man, always smiling, laughing, full of life, with many stories to share.
Besides his parents, Tony is survived by his children, Ralph, Nico, Kyra, and Sophia Palmieri and his granddaughter, Katrina Palmieri, all of California. He also leaves his sisters, Maria Mancini Palmieri of Woodbury, Rina Goncalves and her husband, Carlos of Waterbury, Patty Aleandri and her husband, Thomas of Woodbury, and Rose Yardito and her husband, Domenic of Bethlehem, in addition to his children's mothers Connie Palmieri of Waterbury and Wendy Miller of California and his many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. He is predeceased by his brother, Umberto "Al" Palmieri.
Funeral services for Mr. Palmieri will be held on Wednesday August 30, 2017 at 10:00 am from Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St Waterbury, CT 06705 to Saints Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Tony's family on Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home.
