Antonio Rodriguez Rivera?" Age 88 of Union St Waterbury died Thursday November 13th 2008 at Crescent Manor Health Care Center after an extended illness. He was the widower of Amelia F. Rodriguez.
Mr. Rivera was born January 8th 1920 in Yaco, Puerto Rico the son of the late Camilo and Roasario (Rivera) Rodriguez. Raised in Yaco, Puerto Rico he worked as a machine operator for the Roviera Bisquick Company for many years as well as a security guard for Air Products of Puerto Rico. He served in the US Army during WWII and his hobbies included playing the Cuatro Guitar, singing, reading, and politics.
He is survived by his two sons Monserrate Rodriguez of Waterbury, Antonio Rodriguez, of Bronx, NY; his daughter Martha Acevedo of Waterbury, a sister, Agueda Rivera of Cleveland, OH; as well as nine grandchildren, and eleven great grand children. Besides his wife he is pre-deceased by two brothers and a sister.
Services for Mr. Rivera will be held in Yaco Puerto Rico.
