Wolcott - Arlene O'Keefe Archambault, age 87 of Mohawk Dr. Wolcott passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 3, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Louis E. Archambault Jr.
Arlene was born September 17, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Judith (Culliton) O'Keefe. She was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High and St Mary's School of Nursing as well as Mattatuck Community College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude Arlene could never drive by a flea market without stopping and she enjoyed spending many happy years with her family and friends at their second home in Charlestown, RI. where she would spend countless hours walking the beach or sitting on the front porch relaxing while enjoying her retirement years. She was an active parishioner at St Pius X Church in Wolcott where she sang in the church choir and was also an active member of the Wolcott Senior Center
Besides her husband Louis with whom she enjoyed 63 wonderful years, Arlene is survived by her 6 sons; William and his wife Sally of Napa, CA. Craig, of Beaver Creek, OH, David and his wife Lee of Wolcott, Steven of Higganum, Brian of Wolcott, and Paul and his wife Laura of Portland, her sister, Rosemary LeRoy of Plano, TX, her brother, William O'Keefe of Pompano Beach, FL. as well as seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister. Judith Cross.
Funeral services for Mrs. Archambault will be held on Monday, October 7th, 2013 at 8:15 am from EASTSIDE MEMORIAL " A Casey Family Funeral Home & Tribute Center" 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury to St. Pius X Church, Woodtick Rd Wolcott to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am. Rites of Committal will be held privately at the family's convenience. Relatives and friends may visit with Arlene's family on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 ~5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
