New Milford ?" Mrs. Arlene J. Barnaba, age 82, formerly of Waterbury, died peacefully May 5, 2009 at the Village Crest Center for Health and Rehabilitation of New Milford after a extended illness. She was the widow of Angelo "Barney" Barnaba.

Mrs. Barnaba was born June 19, 1926 in Waterbury Connecticut, the daughter of the late Raymond and Joyce French. She was a long time Waterbury resident who spent her later years in Sherman where she enjoyed her art work especially drawing and needle point. She was a communicant of Saints Peter and Paul Church, Waterbury.

Among her survivors are her son, Thomas Barnaba of Sherman, a grandson Robert and a sister Joannie.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barnaba will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd., Waterbury at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at church. There are no calling hours.
