THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF ARTHUR FABIANSKI
TORRINGTON - Arthur W. "Bill" Fabianski, age 78 of Torrington, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love and comfort of his family on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Sheila (Kearney) Fabianski.
Arthur was born on March 30, 1942 in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Anthony and Walda (Zembruski) Fabianski. He was a graduate of Watertown High School and held various positions as a truck driver and welder for several area companies including the Town of Watertown, the State of CT, and Winn Dixie. Arthur enjoyed fishing and boating as well as building and flying remote control airplanes. He was also a skilled mechanic and was known as a "jack of all trades". He was a member of the Polish American Club of Bristol and he will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to cherish the many memories of Arthur and carry on his legacy, besides his wife, Sheila of 25 years are his children; Pamela Andreson and her husband James, Robert Fabianski, Scott Fabianski and his wife Claudia, his step children; Daniel, Debra, Mark and Megan as well as his sister, Jean Abel and her husband George. He also leaves his adoring grandchildren; Nicole and Melina Andreson and his step grandchildren, Danielle, Katherine, Amanda, Eva, William, and Matthew as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Edward Fabianski and Alexander Fabianski.
Funeral services for Mr. Fabianski will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m at O'Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville CT 06779. The family will host a walk-through visitation at the funeral home from 12 noon until the time of the services at 2:00. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. All local, state and federal guidelines currently in effect on the day of the service will be strictly enforced. Memorial contributions may be made to Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center or charity of your choice.
