Beloved Husband, Brother, & Uncle
WATERBURY - Arthur J. King, age 60, of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, February 11th 2023. He was the beloved husband of Tammi (Hunt) King.
Art was born March 27, 1962 in Derby, CT, the son of the late Joseph and Beverly (Balser) King. He was raised in the Naugatuck area and was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and at the time of his passing was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic for Culture Foods. Art truly enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing in his favorite spots; Long Meadow Pond in Oxford and the Bantam River. Art was unique in so many ways. He made the world a better place for all of us, and we are all blessed and thankful to have had him in our lives.
Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy, besides his wife, of over 30 years, Tammi are his siblings; Cathy Calabro and her husband Robert, Cynthia Telesca, and her husband, Christopher, Joanne King, and Matthew King. He also leaves his nephews; Adam and Zachary Telesca, Jaime Lloret, Thomas Hunt III, Christopher Hunt, Julianne, and Jacob Keyes.
Funeral services for Mr. King will be held on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at Casey’s Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 1987 East Main St. Waterbury, CT 06705.
