ARTHUR PFEFFER LEIBOVITZ
WATERBURY- Arthur Pfeffer Leibovitz age 56 of Hitchcock Road died Thursday at Waterbury Hospital.
Arthur was born November 26, 1951 in Waterbury a son of the late Nathan and Ida (Pfeffer) Leibovitz and lived in Waterbury and Watertown most of his life. He was a graduate of Wilby High School and the Paier School of Art. Arthur was a member of B'Nai Shalom Synagogue and was very active with the Chabad Lubavitch in Litchfield. He was currently working in the Sales and Financing Department at Wallingford Auto Park where he had worked for several years.
He leaves two stepdaughters Rachael LaFlamme of Watertown, Alicia Creighton of New Britain, a brother Rabbi Richard Ben Leibovitz of Scranton, PA and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 23 at 1 p.m. at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street Oakville, CT 06779. Burial will be in Hebrew Benefit Cemetery, Waterbury. Arthur's family will be receiving friends at the home of Natalie Schain, 913 Cooke Street immediately following the burial. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of donors choice.
