NAUGATUCK CT - Barbara A. Baeder, age 56 of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2017, with her daughters and family by her side at St Marys Hospital after a brief illness.
Barbara was born on March 18, 1961 in Bridgeport CT, the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Ann (Spillane) Pelle. She worked for many years as a direct care provider at Southbury Training School. A loving mother and grandmother, she loved spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. Barbra enjoyed many trips to Lake Compounce, loved scary movies, dancing and music of all types. She enjoyed going out to lunch and was an avid cat enthusiast. Most of all, she was a devoted Mom and enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Barbara will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Justine Baeder and her fiancé, Joseph Markey of Naugatuck and Lindsey Baeder and her fiancé, James Thompson of Cheektowaga NY as well as her two grandchildren; Sage and Logan Markey.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Baeder will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St Waterbury CT. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may visit with Barbara's family on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
