WATERBURY - Barbara Ann Daddona age 80 of Brentwood Dr. Waterbury passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the Paradigm Health Care Center of Waterbury after an extended illness she was the wife of Cosmas Daddona.
Mrs. Daddona was born July 28th 1933 in Norfolk, CT the daughter of the late Carmen and Doris (King) Lovetri. She was a graduate of Sprague elementary school and Wilby high school. Barbara was committed to caring for her family, always willing to help them out and tend to their needs before her own.
The Daddona family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of Paradigm Health Care Center and the members of Vitas Innovative Hospice Care for the loving care and attention provided to Barbara and her family.
Besides her husband Cosmas of 54 years she is survived by her children Doris "Dorie" Bellemare and her husband Arthur of Naugatuck, Rich Daddona and his wife Debby of Watertown, her grandchildren Victoria and Artie Bellemare and Angela and Rich Daddona Jr. as well as several great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Daddona will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2014 10:00am from Eastside Memorial, a Casey Family Funeral Home and Tribute Center, 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury to Saint Leo the Great Church 14 Bentwood Ave Waterbury to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Barbara's family on Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Memorial donation's Barbara's memory can be made the Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105 .
