WATERBURY - Barbara Jean Grady, age 79 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital.
Barbara was born on October 6, 1941 in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elvis and Gertrude Fugate. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Family was the most important thing to her. She loved doing puzzles. Barbara was a very loving and caring person and she will be sadly missed by all those who were knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory and honor her love and legacy, are her three children; Douglas Grady and his companion, Nadine Scully, Melissa Violette and husband, Jack Violette Jr, John Grady and wife, Kelly Grady. She also leaves behind, 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great, great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews as well as several brothers and sisters. Barbara was predeceased by her 3 children, Debra Grady, William Grady Jr and Kathy Reardon. The family would like to thank Regal Care of Waterbury and Waterbury Hospital for the care that they provided to Barbara.
Due to restrictions in place regarding COVID # 19, funeral services for Mrs. Grady will be will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
