WOLCOTT - Barbara R. Hutt, age 53, of Wolcott, passed away unexpectedly on June 22, 2020 at home.
Barbara was born June 21, 1967 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Reginald and Ruth Hutt of Wolcott. She attended Saints Peter and Paul School and was a graduate of Holy Cross high school class of 1985. Barbara held various occupations but most recently worked as a jeweler and diamond consultant at Michael's Jewelers for ten years. In her younger years she enjoyed ice skating and was a competitive figure skater. Barbara loved animals and had several pets over the years: Nikki, Bo, Bethany, Sweet Pea, and Oliver. One her favorite things to do was to take an annual trip to York Beach, Maine with her mother.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory is her brother Ronald Hutt of Wolcott as well as several cousins and other extended family members and close friends including Nancy Perillo.
Funeral Services for Ms. Hutt will be held on Saturday October 9th at 10:00am at Mary Mother of the church Parish Saints Peter and Paul Church. Those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
