BERNADETTE (BISAILLON) DEMERS
OAKVILLE- Bernadette (Bisaillon)"Memere" Demers age 93 of Portland Street died Friday January 2, 2009 at Watertown Convalarium. She was the widow of Jules Philip Romeo Demers.
Bernadette was born April 16, 1915 in Saint Christine, Quebec Canada a daughter of the late Joseph and Laura (Deshenue) Bisaillon and lived in Oakville since 1955. She was educated in Canada. Prior to her retirement, she was a self-employed cook and had also worked at the former 7-11 Restaurant in Waterbury. She was a communicant of Saint Mary Magdalen Church.
She leaves a son Victor Philip Demers of Oakville, a daughter Denise Mortimer of Oakville, three brothers Adrian, Isadore and Joseph Bisaillon, three sisters Irene Bisaillon, Julie Granger, Loretta Bisaillon, eight grandchildren, seventeen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Dorothea Boivin and nine brothers and sisters.
