AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Bernice (Pinevich) Gelgauda Evans age 94 of Oakville died Saturday March 6, 2010 at her home. She was the widow of Leo Evans.
Bernice was born April 19, 1915 in Watertown, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Armonaitis) Pinevich and lived in Oakville most of her life. She was a graduate of Wilby High School. Prior to her retirement in 1977, Bernice worked as a Cardiogram Technician at Waterbury Hospital. She was also a partner in the former Fashion Tile and Floor Covering in Waterbury. Bernice was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing.
She leaves a daughter Helen Shirley Gelgauda of Oakville and several cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Paul Pinevich and a sister Mary DiNapoli.
