Waterbury - Mrs. Betty R. (Dimock) Ryan, 87, of Waterbury died Sunday October 30th, 2011 at Vitas Innovative Hospice Care of Waterbury at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Raymond F. Ryan.
Mrs. Ryan was born in Waterbury November 22, 1923 daughter of the late Thomas & Olive (Duley) Dimock and graduated from Wilby High School. She retired from Century Brass where she had worked for twenty years and enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Betty Zinno and her husband John of Middlebury and Kathleen Grieser and her husband Jack of Southington, 2 sons; Raymond F. Ryan, Jr. and his wife Joanne of Naugatuck, and Thomas W. Ryan of Waterbury with whom she made her home. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Private Funeral Services will be held at the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main Street. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery. The Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow St. is in charge of arrangements with the assistance of the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home.
