AT THE O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME - Beverly (Davis) Zappone age 82 of Ball Farm Road, Oakville, died Saturday evening at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of John Nicholas Zappone.
Beverly was born January 28, 1927 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Leslie and Louisa (Munson) Davis and lived in Oakville most of her life. She was a graduate of Wilby High School, an avid bowler, a volunteer at the Watertown library for many years and was a communicant of Saint Mary Magdalen Church. Beverly was a devoted wife to her husband of 58 years before his passing in 2006, and was a loving mother, sister and grandmother.
She leaves three daughters Claudia Golden of Simpsonville, NC., Cynthia Romano and Cathy Cincogrono both of Watertown, a brother Edgar Davis of Morris, a sister Roberta Zappone of Oakville, four grandchildren, Gretchen Lomax, Joseph and Michael Romano and Joseph Cincogrono.
Funeral Tuesday at 11 a.m. directly at Saint Mary Magdalen Church. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17
