WATERBURY CT - Blas Rosado-Oliveras Jr. age 63, of Waterbury, died Friday June 3rd at Yale New Haven Hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Oliveras was born on June 21, 1947 in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Blas Oliveras Sr and Josephina Rosado. Blas was a long time Waterbury resident.
Blas is survived by his ex-wife, Maria Pura Oliveras his four children; Blas III, Virgen, Eliseo, and Marisol Oliveras all of Waterbury, his four sisters; Virgenmina of New Jersey, Sonia of Puerto Rico, Elsie and Cecilia both of Waterbury. His three brothers; Raul, and Hector of Puerto Rico and Joed of Waterbury as well as seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his two sisters Carmen, and Ester and his two brothers Luis, and Richard.
Funeral services for Mr. Oliveras will be held on Thursday June 9th at 10:30 am from the Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home 1581 East Main St to Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church 13 Wolcott Street Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:30am.
