OAKVILLE - Bonnie (Becker) Famiglietti age 71 of Linden St Oakville passed away Friday November 15, 2013 at Yale New Haven hospital after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Anthony Famiglietti.
Bonnie was born November 19, 1941 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Willard E. and Dorothy (Cutler) Becker. She was a member of the first graduating class of Watertown High School. She was an executive secretary for Winchester Electronics as well as a secretary for Polk School in Oakville and retired as a private secretary for a local business. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and crocheting, puzzles, as well as gardening, and watching Jeopardy and her beloved Yankees. She was a past member of the Thomaston Lanes bowling league and was a former parishioner of Saint Mary Magdalen Church. Most importantly, Bonnie loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Besides her beloved Husband Anthony of 30 years, she is survived by her children Steven St.Mary and his wife Michelle of Wolcott, Gail St.Mary and her companion Fred VanScoy III of Southington, Anne St.Mary of Thomaston, Christine Woods and her husband Joe of Plantsville, Heather Vendetti and her husband Steven of Southington, Debbie McMullin and her husband Brian of Virginia Beach, VA, Alan Famiglietti and his significant other Pamela Strassner of Watertown, Lisa Gelinas and her husband David of Oakville, her brother Robert Becker and his wife Patricia of Oakville, her sister Arline Theon and her husband Bart of Wallingford, and her adored grandchildren Ryan, Tony, Amanda, Amy, Mark, Zachary, Spencer, Tyler, Andrea, Brandon, Matthew, Aubrey, David, and Emma as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She is predeceased by her son David St.Mary and her grandson Martin III.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Famiglietti will be held Wednesday November 20, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Magdalen Church 45 Buckingham St Watertown. Rites of Committal will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Watertown. Those planning on attending are asked to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours. The O'Neill Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist Bonnie's family with arrangements.
