THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF BRANDI DIOGOSTINE CHELEDNIK.

"Fiercely Loving"
WATERBURY - Brandi Diogostine Chelednik, age 43, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 1, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by her family.
"She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the Universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings."
--Ariana Dancu
Brandi's three children were the light of her life. She took great pride in raising them, always put them first and never missed a beat. Family, friends and strangers alike found solace in her strength of heart, for she was deeply forgiving and accepting of others from all walks of life. Everyone knew they could rely on her. She was her kids' biggest fan (and sometimes their loudest fan), their best friend, and their most insightful critic. Brandi's most beloved days were Sundays spent at home, cooking for her family.
Brandi now joins her father, John Diogostine of Waterbury, in peace. She is survived by her mother, Donna Salerno Diogostine of Waterbury and her three amazing children; Jake Diogostine, Brad Chelednik, and Korinn Chelednik, all of Waterbury. She also leaves behind her brother John Diogostine and his wife Cassandra of Wolcott; her sister Lisa Diogostine Suchy and her husband Michael of Fort Collins, CO; her nieces and nephews Trey, Jessika, David, Meghan, John, Damon, Jordan and Lincoln; and many loving Cousins, Aunts and Uncles. She will be missed by her faithful companions her dogs; Miley and Cupcake. Brandi will be forever missed by her entire extended family and her many, many friends.
Funeral services, where all friends and family may pay their respects, will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 6pm-8pm at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home located at 1987 East Main Street in Waterbury. Everyone is also invited to a "Celebrate Brandi's Life!" event on August 5, 2018 at 3pm at Venue Cafe located at 91 Chase Ave, Waterbury. Tickets are $30 and 100% of the proceeds benefit her three children. The family will have a private graveside service for Brandi on Friday, July 13th at 1pm followed by a private get together.
