WATERBURY - Brian Ramon Black was born on March 29, 1972 to Annie Grayson-Black and Ray Black, Jr. At an early age he was christened at Rizer's Chapel United Methodist Church in Bamberg, SC.
Brian attended public schools in Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from August Martin High School of Aviation in Queens, NY and attended the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn, NY.
Brian worked for many years in various positions at the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York, NY with his most recent position being Tower Operator. Brian enjoyed sports and was an avid New York Yankee and Jets fan. He loved and enjoyed family and friends and had a generous and giving heart.
He leaves to cherish fond memories his parents, Annie and Ray Black. A sister Keesha (Larry) Taylor of Wappingers Falls, NY. A brother, Wayne (Lisa) Ransom preceded him in death. Three children, Brianna, Rayanna and Brian, Jr. Three nieces, Alleyah, Kayla and Ny'sha and one nephew, Marcus. He also had a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
All services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Loving-kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence, words of comfort, or share a memory with the family and friends of someone important to you.
