THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF BRIGIDA INFANTE
WATERBURY -Brigida Infante, age 60 of Waterbury, CT passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday November 15th, 2020 She was the wife of Jose Infante.
Brigida was born May 12th 1960 in Santiago, Dominican Republic the daughter of Lidia (Acosta) Vicente and the late Leandro Vicente. She moved to NYC area at the age of 18 and settled in Waterbury in 1998. Brigida worked as a machine operator for Albea Metals in Watertown and was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who would always put others needs before herself. She was always willing to do anything for anyone who needed help. She enjoyed maintaining her home and spending time with her family and enjoyed shopping and dancing.
Left to honor Brigida's love and legacy besides her husband Jose of 19 years are her children, Darlene Hernandez and her husband, William Goodman; Marlene Hernandez and her Fiancé, Tyshaun Haines; all of Waterbury. In addition she also leaves 5 brothers, Juan Ramon Vicente, Leandro Vicente, Apolinar Vicente, Ponciano Vicente, Francisco Vicente, and 4 sisters, Griselda Tapia, Tomasina DeLeon, Gloria Peralta, and Soledad Vicente; In addition she was honored by her grandchildren, Aaliyah Goodman, Zion Cook, Qua'je Goodman, Ruylen Weathersby, and Kyng Haines.
Funeral service for Mrs. Infante will be held on Monday November 23rd 2020 at 12:00 noon at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home 1987 East Main St Waterbury, Ct 06705. All governmental restriction including limited number of guest will be strictly enforced Relatives and friends may visit with Mrs. Infante's family for a walk-through wake, on Sunday, November22nd, 2020 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and again on Monday morning from 10:00am until the service at 12:00. Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery. Eastside Memorial has been honored to assist the Infante family during this difficult time.
