Torrington, CT. Bryan Patrick "Beef" Minogue, age 29, of Tunxis Lane, Torrington, died on Monday, February 13, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Torrington. He was the son of Patrick and Mary Ellen (Wengertsman) Minogue.
Bryan was born on May 13, 1982 in Torrington. Bryan attend Saints Peter and Paul Grammar School and was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical School, Class of 2000 and worked as an auto mechanic for the Hoffman Auto Group in Simsbury for the past four years. Bryan loved cars, motorcycles and working out. He was an avid dog lover and could always be counted on for a good joke. Bryan was happiest surrounded by his family or within his close circle of friends. He was especially close and had a special bond with his late grandmother, Nellie Wengerstman.
Besides his parents of Torrington, Bryan leaves two brothers, Robert Francis Minogue of Tampa FL and William James Minogue of Torrington. He also leaves his Great Aunt, Mary Gleason and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Bryan was predeceased by his brother James Patrick Minogue his grandparents, A. Francis and Ellen Wengerstman and William and Josephine Minogue.
Funeral services for Bryan will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at SS Peter & Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd Waterbury at 12 noon. Those planning on attending are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph's Cemetery, Waterbury. Family and friends may visit at the Casey -O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main St Waterbury on Friday from 4:00 till 7:00pm.
