Naugatuck ?" Mr. Carl W. Wiehn, age 88, formerly of Easton Ave. and The Village at East Farms in Waterbury, died peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Glendale Health Care Center.

Mr. Wiehn was born, October 9th 1920, in Waterbury, CT, the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Hug) Wiehn. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Yale University where he earned a Baccalaureate degree in music. He worked as a private piano teacher for many years until his retirement and enjoyed reading, and flower gardening.
Among his survivors are his close friends, Frank and Jeanne Nickerson of Middlebury. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Ruth Josephs.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Wiehn will be held Tuesday, May 12th 9:00 am at New Saint Joseph's Cemetery 980 Hamilton Ave. Waterbury CT.
