AT THE CASEY-O'DONNELL FAMILY FUNERAL HOME - WATERBURY CT. Mrs. Carmella L. Polletta of Waterbury, died peacefully Saturday November 6, 2010 at Saint Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of Hugo Polletta.
Mrs. Polletta was born November 9, 1923 in New Haven CT, the daughter of the late William and Bernadette (Beleaff) Ursini. She attended New Haven schools and was a dedicated and loving homemaker who took great pride and joy providing for her family.
Besides her husband of _____ years, she is survived by her two sons; Gregory Polletta and his wife Dianne, and Edward R. Polletta and his wife Phyllis, both of Waterbury. Her brothers Anthony Ursini and Louis Ursini both of Hamden, and Loretto Ursini of New London as well as four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Richard and Michael Ursini.
Funeral services Mrs. Polletta will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10am from the Casey - O'Donnell Family Funeral Home, 1581 East Main St Waterbury to Saint Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 - 10 am.
