WATERBURY - Carmen Elaine Ramos, age 48 of Waterbury, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, November 9, 2018. She was the wife of Anibal Sanchez Jr.
Carmen was born December 16th 1969 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Carmen Machado of Waterbury and the late Juan G. Ramos. She attended Kennedy High School and was a parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception Church. Carmen was a fun-loving woman with a strong faith and belief in God. She dedicated herself to raising her son and enjoyed taking photographs and videos and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Carmen was always happiest while spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.
Besides her husband, Anibal and her mother, Carmen, she is survived by her son, Adrian Sanchez, her brother, Ricardo Ramos, her sister, Jeannette Ramos all of Waterbury and her grandchildren, Adrian Sanchez Jr. and Trinitey Sanchez as well as many extended family members and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ramos will be held on Thursday November 15th 2018 at 9:15 am from Casey's Eastside Memorial Home 1987 East Main St. @ Southmayd Rd. Waterbury to the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St Waterbury, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Committal services will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Relatives and friends may visit with Carmen's family on Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
