WATERBURY- Carmine Calabrese, age 82 of Waterbury passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Saint Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Gloria Calabrese.
Carmine was born in Bennevento, Italy on February 23,1938. The son of the late Angelo Anthony Calabrese and Maryann Pasqualina, he worked in the Brass Mills and Sears and Roebuck for many years. He was a hardworking, dedicated father and husband who provided well for his family.
Left to cherish to his memory, besides his wife Gloria are his daughters, Josephine Calabrese, Mary Calabrese and Marcey Calabrese, and his two grandsons, Johnathan Canfield and Daniel Canfield as well as many extended family members.
Due to the government's orders now in effect, there will be no public services for Carmine. The family will conduct private services.
