WATERBURY – Ms. Carol Cofrancesco, age 54, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at the Vitas Inpatient Unit of Saint Mary’s Hospital, on Friday, December 9, 2022
Carol was born on December 21, 1967, in New Haven, CT, the daughter of Pasquale and Helen Maria (Selmont) Cofrancesco. She was educated in New Haven and received several degrees from Eli Whitney Vocational School and Stone Academy. Carol worked in healthcare as a Surgical Tech, an EKG Tech, and a BLS Instructor. For the past twenty plus years she was employed at Danbury Hospital where she began her career as a Medical Assistant in Cardiology and worked her way up over the years to Manager, Ambulatory Health Information and Management. Carol was a loud, loving, and generous person to all. She loved to laugh and have fun. She was an avid traveler, especially to Cabo where she had made an entire new group of friends. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her and love her.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory are her brothers; Paul, Tony, and Patrick, her two nephews, her niece, and her many friends especially; Patricia Kellogg, Lilly Mustafi, Jimmy and Nata Bylykbashi, and Eileen and Jerry Schwaub.
Funeral services for Ms. Cofrancesco will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
