Waterbury - Mrs. Caroline M. Obarowski age 89, formerly of Knoll St Waterbury, passed away peacefully at River Glenn Health Care Center in Southbury surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Edward E. Obarowski.
Mrs. Obarowski was born June 12th 1922 in Waterbury CT, the daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Fantino) Marino. Caroline attended Anderson Grammar School and graduated from Croft High School. She worked at Seth Thomas Clock Company for several years and then at Retail Commercial Credit before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a longtime parishioner of the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception.
Among her survivors are her son, David E. Obarowski and his wife Donna of Woodbury, her sister, Joan Maurice of Falmouth MA and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Obarowski will be held on Friday, June 1st, 2012 at 9:00am at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 74 West Main St Waterbury CT. Those planning on attending are asked to go directly to church. Burial will follow in Old Pine Grove Cemetery Waterbury. There are no calling hours.
